Why sailing have to be so serious?

Here is the Notice of Race for the 2016 O’pen BIC North American Championships on April 22-24 in Charleston, SC: The purpose of this event is to run a fun event for youth sailors in a more loosely competitive style in dynamic junior boats. Results are not nearly as important as everyone having a good time sailing. It is our goal that the sailors improve their skills, make new friends, and have a ton of fun http://www.sailingscuttlebutt.com/2016/03/21/leave-your-rule-book-at-home/
Avelok opinion , Such as surfing and kite , the sport for pleasure is more than a trophy, but a need for self-affirmation (often the own parents), the sport practiced by the principle that is intended is the real sport. I believe that most of the world people have collapsed and have the feeling that you need to compete at all, to be better than the others. There inhuman competitions, stressful, boring, only the change of a trophy. Think about it and make your reflection and realize the world that awaits the cruise sailing the proposósito: why not bring this thought to all aspects of your life. Cruise sailors have done this option, ask them what they think of the madness of the day on which we live? No spill, no sickness worth a business or career.
